Testing for mastitis in a Milk cow #canadianhomesteaders

If you have a milk cow, you've probably ran into mastitis at some point, and for us one cow got it so bad she passed away after 9 days of doing everything we could to keep her alive. We now use a mastitis testing kit as soon as the calf is born so we can prevent it from getting any worse. It has helped us a lot now that we have had another cow birth last month and we were able to get the mastitis cleared out of the utter.
